TOTAL NUMBER OF STUDENTS
Founded in a joint effort with the Jewish Agency, Naale’s Ayanot program is fully subsidized, co-ed Jewish high school program. Naale students, who make up for about twenty percent of Ayanot’s boarding students, have access to a superb academic education, with an emphasis on Film & Media, Technology and Agro-Ecology.
Ayanot Youth Village was founded in the 1930s and is located near Nes Tziona, Israel. This co-ed Jewish high school offers core subjects, elective courses and a wide array of extra-curricular activities, school trips and more.
By the time they graduate they leave Ayanot with an integrated appreciation of Israel and an internationally recognized high school diploma. This all-inclusive program provides a soft landing for students from abroad and an even softer landing on your wallet!
The program includes an extensive ulpan course which helps newcomers from abroad get through the language barrier. The following years they study completely in Hebrew, with teachers available to go to for continued help with Hebrew if need be.
Mandatory subjects include literature, history, science, math and studies on the land of Israel. Elective courses include advanced math, biology, chemistry, technology, cinema, videography, agro-ecology and Hebrew law (for students with background in Hebrew) College preparation courses are offered to those who want them.
Recognized as an innovative educational institution, Ayanot’s campus houses a technology center where students have the option of studying the latest in programing, 3D printing and product design. In addition to the rich variety of academic opportunities on campus, students from Ayanot are welcome to take classes at the nearby Weizmann Institute where they can earn credits to be used if they choose to continue their university studies in Israel.
There are over 25 extra-curricular activities available to Ayanot students in the fields of sports, art, music and technology. There are also weekly school trips to give students the full experience of studying in the land of Israel.
Ayanot’s Youth Village is located on the beautiful lush green grounds, home to a small farm with various farm animals, a highlight for both staff and students who appreciate the calm that nature provides.
On campus you will also find an impressive variety of centers that encourage physical and emotional health including a music hall, technology center, dance studio, synagogue and a tennis, basketball and soccer court.
Off campus and nearby, there are malls and shopping centers in Rishon Letzion and Rehovot which students are allowed to go to with parental permission.
Staff and Tutoring
Our staff is dedicated to providing your teen with both a quality education as well as the emotional support that children need during these transformative years. We have English, Italian, Russian, French and Dutch speaking staff for students to be able to talk to and learn from in the language that is comfortable for them. Whatever it is your child needs, the Ayanot staff is there to support them in these formative years.
Housing and Food
Ayanot’s dormitories house 30 students per building, with 3-4 students per room. Each dorm has a recreation room in the building, as well as washing machines and dryers for students to do their laundry (another great life skill they learn at Ayanot).
In addition to three hot meals – with multiple dietary options available – each dorm building has a kitchen with fruits, vegetables, bread, cheese and spreads available to them.
Boarding students are set up with a local hosting family who warmly welcome the students into their lives and serve as a home away from home. Many of Ayanot’s host families stay in contact with their boarding students well after graduation.
