Naale is a once in a lifetime opportunity for Jewish teens to achieve academic excellence as well as personal and interpersonal skills that will support them throughout their life. Founded in a joint effort with the Jewish Agency, Naale was established in 1992 with a goal of providing Jewish high school students worldwide the opportunity to live and study in Israel for high school. And the best part is that the entire program is free!
What we do
The Alumni Department was established in 1997 with the goal of extending practical help to Naale graduates upon their departure into the real world.
The Alumni department deals with the technical aspects of making Aliyah; changes in legal status, induction into the Israel Defense Forces or National Service, being accepted to college, running personal finances etc. In addition the Alumni department helps with more personal transitions such as helping students who are debating opting for citizenship, the challenges of entering Israeli society or returning to their parents’ home and choosing a career.
The Alumni department gives practical advice regarding the following: Military or National service, academic studies, Atuda programs, one year voluntary service programs, studies for conversion to Judaism, military prep school and employment.
Every graduate facing interaction with a military or civilian framework may request assistance from the Alumni Department including: individual assistance, supervision and support, crisis intervention, etc.
Many of our graduates have made Aliyah, joined the army, studied and graduated from Israeli universities , joined the work force and have fully integrated into Israeli society.
